I have searched the Catskills to find mandel bread that brings me back to the 90s when my grandparents brought it from Schluckers bakery in Brooklyn. This is the only mandel bread that checks all the boxes for me. It’s soft and delicious. I don’t want biscotti. I can get that anywhere. This is, hands down, the best mandel bread.
